AFUN Pix: inspect each payment stage

AFUN Brazil: brand charactersAFUN

Pix is Brazil’s instant payment system; the bank transaction and recognition by an account are separate stages.

Pix: from bank transfer to account record

Pix is Brazil’s instant payment system; the bank transaction and recognition by an account are separate stages. Where the method is offered for your transaction, generate the relevant instruction and check beneficiary and amount in the banking app before authorizing.

A scheduled receipt is not an executed payment. Find final status and retain EndToEnd, date, value and participating institutions. If the bank confirms a debit but the destination record is missing, request clarification using that reference rather than sending again.

Consistent ownership and banking details

Name, identity details and payment method must meet profile conditions. In Brazil, compare CPF and ownership against bank records. Do not use another person’s account to solve a discrepancy: ask the responsible service for its correction procedure.

Check bank, branch, account, check digit and type where requested. Copy from a banking document rather than guessing. A card number does not replace the account number, and a Pix key does not belong in a branch field.

Key, QR and Copia e Cola

A Pix key can be CPF, email, phone or a random key. It identifies a destination and is not a banking password. With QR or Copia e Cola, check that bank-displayed details match the instruction you just generated.

Do not reuse an expired code or a forwarded image for another amount. Before confirmation, inspect beneficiary name and the full value including cents. For a refund, read the responsible channel’s requirements; a key and branch/account are different fields.

Save the final receipt with amount, date, beneficiary and full reference. Compare it with account movements and the bank statement. When two transactions have equal amounts, date and reference distinguish them; the value alone can lead to the wrong case.

Prepare a redacted copy if you need to explain the issue. Keep the original private and submit it only through the relevant verifiable channel. Do not disclose passwords, PIN, CVV or access codes to help someone locate a transfer.

Locate the stage of a pending transaction

  1. Compare the final receipt with the statement.
  2. Check amount, date, destination and E2E.
  3. Distinguish an old deposit from a refund.
  4. Keep available AFUN account history.
  5. Contact the bank and responsible operator with a clear description.

Compare elapsed time with the period communicated for that request rather than assuming a universal duration. Look for document or incorrect-detail notices. If your response is missing, waiting longer does not complete the review; follow the indicated procedure.

Once marked sent, inspect the reference and destination. Distinguish service processing from bank crediting before assigning a delay. Keep one support request with its case number and add new evidence there rather than fragmenting the explanation.

Amounts, cents and discrepancies

Read currency and separators before comparing amounts. In Brazilian notation, R$ 1.250,50 means one thousand two hundred fifty reais and fifty cents. Keep cents during reconciliation and do not assume a fixed exchange rate for another currency.

If you requested 250 and received 240 in the same currency, the difference is 10. Inspect the description, disclosed cost and reference before calling it a fee. Track deposits, winnings, bonuses and withdrawals separately: amounts do not make them equivalent.

Check the terms for your region

Website language does not determine where a service can be used. Check supported territory, contracting entity and current destination terms before registration or payment. Displaying a brand or banking method on this information site does not establish local authorization.

An international account and a Brazilian operation do not necessarily share obligations or funds. For earlier balances, identify the original business and contract. Site examples explain processes rather than announcing operating availability or a guaranteed payment timetable.
